Insurance Controller for Generali CEE Holding

For our company Generali CEE Holding we are looking for a new colleague for the position of Insurance Performance Optimization Controller.
This position is a replacement for maternity leave, so far planned for 15 - 18 months, but in case of interest we will do our best to find another job within our company.

What will be the main responsibilities:

• Monitoring performance of business units in respective area, including comparison of actual results with targets, plans and forecasts
• Collection, consolidation, analysis and interpretation of data related to Non-life Technical Excellence initiatives.
• Collecting respective data and following trends in their developments.
• Preparing standard outcomes, e.g. presentations, templates, materials, tracking tools.
• Development or adaptation of new regional reports, including KPIs definitions and preparation of methodologies, guidelines and system requirements.
• Establishing contacts and securing data sources for obtaining relevant technical information.
• Tracking technical activities, completing them with qualitative/ quantitative information, comment and challenge their development.
• Monitoring technical execution of business in respective area, including comparison with plans and identifying adverse variances.
• Concluding and consolidating outcomes and providing analytical support for stakeholders.
• Contributing (providing data support) to the forecasting and business planning.
• Supervising the specific cross-country topics for the Non-life insurance streams.

Who is the best candidate:

• University degree in Finance/Economics
• Min. 3 years of experience in Finance, ideally from insurance company
• Very good level of English (daily use, level C1)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills needed for the communication with Head office and Business units within CEE region
• Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
